Experience Bucket Drumming Program
PlayDrums.com is launching a new group bucket drumming program for general music educators, private group music instructors, and youth development program facilitators who wish to introduce bucket drumming and drum set percussion to young people aged 8-14.
Program Goals:
Students participating in informal settings will become more comfortable creating and performing rhythm-based music and learn how to drum quickly with no stigma or stress.
Music educators and group facilitators will learn practical, realistic information which will help them better engage young people with creative, high-quality, and unique learning experiences.
Teachers will cultivate students’ ability to carry out the artistic processes of creating, performing, and responding to music. Students participating in music classrooms will achieve competencies in related PreK-8 General Music Standards as established by the National Association for Music Education.
Experience Bucket Drumming! is made possible by the members of the Percussion Marketing Council and through funding from the NAMM Foundation.
