Vans Warped Tour 2011

The PMC’s LESSON LAB TENT appeared at SEVEN major cities during the 2011 VANS WARPED TOUR. The PMC Tent was managed by various PMC Members and staffed with local percussion retailers that provided the professional drum instructors and first (free) five-minute lessons during the daytime activity. This chance for a free drum lesson attracted over a thousand attendees to the tent at each stop where they experienced the PMC tent and receive their first free drum lesson.

The  PMC Tent was displayed in the following cities this past summer:

• June 26, San Antonio, Texas
• July 1, Pomona, California
• July 9, Chicago, Illinois
• July 13, Boston, MA
• July 19, Milwaukee Wisconsin
• July 28, Charlotte, NC
• August 10, Carson, California

The complete PMC  Vans Warped Tour project has been directed by PMC Advisory Board Member, Billy Cuthrell who has worked extensively with the  VWT Management  Team , PMC Members and their retailers to  assure the continued success and growth based on last years inaugural participation. Lesson Lab hosting retailers received Free-Lesson consumer enrollment/survey forms and details on hosting a Lesson Lab Drummer Contest. Each host also received a Contest Winner Prize of a 16” crash cymbal, courtesy of Sabian Cymbals, used in promoting the PMC  tent and lesson offering.

All PMC Members had their supporting logos displayed as part of the tent’s banner graphics.
